How mNemo works
Where do I start?
With the Basics course. Its three lessons — a memory test, images and chains — explain the technique and let you try it right away. Lessons open one after another: finish a lesson to unlock the next.
What is the Chain Trainer?
A daily exercise in linking images. The app shows you a chain of words, one card at a time; you link each word to the previous one with a vivid image, then answer which word came next. You choose how many words and how many seconds per word; the app keeps your best result. The trainer appears on the main screen after you finish the Chain lesson.
How do I open the People’s Names course?
It opens after you set a record in the Chain Trainer. The course has three lessons: linking an image to a face, encoding a name into an image, and the advanced techniques with a pairs exercise.
Why does a lesson repeat an exercise?
Some exercises repeat until every answer is right: that is how the lesson makes sure the technique has stuck. Take your time with the images; the lesson explains how to make them memorable.
Can I reset my progress?
Progress is stored only on your device. To start over, delete the app and install it again.

- There is no account to create and nothing to sign in to.
- The app is free; there are no ads.
