mNemoTerms of Use
Effective October 3, 2026
The short version: mNemo is yours to use for learning. Its lessons, texts and pictures belong to us; please don’t copy or resell them. The app teaches a technique and gives no guarantee of results. If a subscription is ever offered, Apple handles the payment and you manage it in your Apple Account.
These terms apply to the mNemo app for iPhone (“mNemo”, “the app”), published by Serge German (“we”). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where the two differ, these terms take precedence to the extent Apple’s agreement allows.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own learning. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or rent the app or any part of it, reverse-engineer it, or use it in a way that breaks the law or these terms.
Content
The courses, lesson texts, exercises, word lists, illustrations and the app itself are protected by copyright and belong to Serge German or are used under licence. They are provided for your personal use within the app. You may not extract or republish them.
What the app does and does not promise
mNemo teaches mnemonic techniques through lessons and exercises. How much you remember depends on your practice; we do not guarantee any particular result. The app is for self-education and is not medical, psychological or professional advice.
Accounts and your data
The app has no accounts. Your progress is stored on your device, and what the app sends to our services is described in the Privacy Policy.
Purchases and subscriptions
The app is free to use. If we offer paid features or an auto-renewing subscription in the future:
- the price and the billing period are shown in the app before you buy;
- payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase;
- a subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period;
- you can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings, and any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends;
- refunds are handled by Apple under its own terms.
Changes to the app
We may change, add or remove features of the app, and may stop providing it. We may also update these terms; the new version will be published on this page with a new date, and continued use of the app after that means you accept it.
Liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of or inability to use the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law gives you as a consumer and that cannot be excluded.
